When she’s not energizing a gala, she’s swimming with her masters team, exploring the best local restaurants, or walking her golden retriever, Kona, along the beach - probably brainstorming creative ways to make your next event unforgettable!
As a second-generation auctioneer, she grew up working alongside her father, mother, and brother as part of the Werner Family Auction Team: a powerhouse crew that took the Southern California benefit auction scene by storm. Whether she was spotting bids, managing backstage logistics, or learning how to command a crowd from the sidelines, Journey was absorbing the business long before she officially stepped on stage.
She later earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University, then went on to train at the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Iowa (yes, auction school is a real thing!). That education, combined with decades of real-world experience, shaped her into a confident, calculated, and mission-focused fundraising partner.
Today, Journey is a proud female Professional Benefit Auctioneer with hundreds of galas behind her, and the kind of stage presence that doesn’t just entertain, but engages. She brings strategy, crowd-reading instincts, and the energy to turn Live Auctions & Fund-A-Needs into record-breaking moments. She’s not just an auctioneer: she’s a benefit catalyst, a momentum builder, and a strong advocate for every mission she supports.
Journey believes that being a great auctioneer isn’t about theatrics, it’s about connection. Real results don’t come from noise, gimmicks, or forced hype. They come from moments of genuine energy, trust, and storytelling that hit people where it counts. When a room is engaged for the right reasons, the mission doesn’t just land, it lifts. That’s what sparks action. That’s what creates Journey’s favorite benefit auction term: Contagious Generosity.
